From late August through early October, there are a few places to see this annual phenomenon and get close-up views of "Bear Camp", where migrating bears join the large number of bears that reside there.
Located on the banks of the Chilko River in central British Columbia, around an old hunting lodge from the 1950s, the secluded camp offers rustic luxury along with fantastic bear watching.
Caribbean islands:
