The wedding is preceded by the night of henna. This is because the bride’s relatives draw beautiful inscriptions for her on her hands for decoration on that particular night, and in today’s article we will learn how to draw these inscriptions and drawings on the hands. There are several ways to make henna, including:

 The simple way: 

This method is prepared by mixing some ground natural henna, with a teaspoon, a teaspoon of coffee, a teaspoon of sugar, and some cloves, with an appropriate amount of water, and put the mixture on the fire until it boils, and then mix the resulting liquid with more of henna until it turns into a soft dough, and you can add some lemon juice, then cover the dough for at least two hours, and then use it to draw drawings and inscriptions. It is recommended to leave it overnight, and then remove it from the hand.

Henna black tea and starch: 

This recipe results from mixing 3 spoons of henna with a spoon and a half of starch, half a spoon of lemon juice, half a cup of concentrated black tea, and a spoonful of mahlab, carefully mixing the ingredients until they stick together, and then using the resulting henna for drawing. Henna rose water: This henna can be made by mixing 3 tablespoons of henna with a tablespoon of lemon juice, a tablespoon of rose water, and some warm water. Henna after painting.

This henna is prepared by mixing a little water with a spoon of
powdered sugar, it increases the cohesion of the henna and prevents cracking, add some cloves, the juice of two lemons and a black stone and leave the mixture to boil, and then filter the mixture to get rid of the remnants of cloves, lemon seeds, and any impurities attached Gradually add 5 tablespoons of black henna to the mixture, until it produces a soft dough, cover the mixture with a piece of plastic and leave it for two hours, then use the resulting paste to draw on the hands.

Tips to extend the life of the henna drawing:

 The following tips help to keep the henna drawing for a longer time, and they are as follows: Wash the area on which henna is to be drawn before starting the drawing. Prepare a lemon solution that consists of the juice of 3 lemons and a spoon of sugar, put it in a sprayer, and spray it on the drawing area 30 minutes after the henna is finished, and then repeat the spraying every 30 minutes, and leave the henna for at least two hours on the area to be painted. Never use water on the painted area, within 8 hours after painting. Use a soft cloth or cotton dipped in olive oil to wipe the henna tattoo.
